MERDJ has been published by DICP

Mössbauer Effect Reference and Data Journal (MERDJ), with 33 years history, is the key publication of the international Mössbauer research community. It was launched by Mössbauer Effect Data Center (MEDC) and has received a high reputation in the field of international Mössbauer research. MERDJ has 10 issues and plus one data index within one year, each issue is mainly consisted of two parts: about 100 Mössbauer new references and Mössbauer spectroscopy newsletter. This time DICP firstly edited and published September issue of Volume 33. Its newsletter part features the Mössbauer research in DICP, its developing history and main achievements. From this issue, Prof. ZHANG Tao, Director of DICP, acts as Editor in charge of the MERDJ, about 30 scientists from 17 different countries serve as Associate Editors and International Advisory Board.

In addition, with the hosting and operation of MEDC, DICP has also been awarded as the organizer of ISIAME2012 (International Symposium on the Industrial Applications of the Mössbauer Effect). ISIAME is the second largest conference in the field of Mössbauer research.

In short, MEDC will base upon Dalian and take active cooperation with the related universities and research institutes worldwide. As well, it will also undertake the applied researches of Mössbauer spectroscopy in catalysis and functional materials, provide professional measurement services and technological consultations.
